Fight Conditioning
Submitted by jrob23 on Fri, 2007-04-20 00:19.
Equipment Required
Instructions
You will need a medicine ball, preferably with handles on them. Each drill is 30 seconds long and you perform the drills as a continuous giant circuit. There are five different drills that you will perform. Once you finish all five drills you will repeat those five drills for a total of four rounds for a complete 10 minute drill. This will help simulate conditioning for boxing. The drills are as follows:
Heisman Right: Take the medicine ball and perform a wood chop going from top to bottom as your right leg comes up (like the Heisman football pose)as fast as possible
Squat Jumps: Squat down then jump up reaching hands to the sky. Perform as many as possible in the 30 seconds.
Medicine Ball Swings: Perform a Medicine ball snatch, at a fast pace, for the 30 seconds.
Foot Taps: Set the medicine ball on the floor. Run in place while tapping each foot on top of the ball like running sprints.
Heisman Left: Same as before but now on the other side.
