A combination of different types of entertainment media has drawn me to boxing. The movie Cinderella Man and the game Fight Night Round 3 have just piqued my interest. I'm also proud of my reflexes - it always has seemed like I was, at times, naturally fast with my hands, and that was only helped by a few years in karate. Boxing just seems like a way to have fun and get in shape, and I wouldn't mind knocking around a few heads at the same time (though I expect mine will get knocked around at least as much). I am 5'8'' and 178 pounds at the time I'm writing this. In my training, I plan on trimming down to around 160 and toning up what is there to be as muscular as possible. I want to box competitively someday, and at 17 it feels like it might be a late start, but I'm still going to give it all I can right now.
