Okay, you've been thinking about it for awhile and boxing seems like a decent enough sport to try.  You even did a little research and ended up on this site.  However, you still haven't made up your mind if you are going to learn how to box or learn how to lawn bowl.  Well, here are 26 reasons - the A-Z list of reasons, why you should choose boxing over lawn bowling.  In all seriousness, choose boxing as your sport and your way of exercising to keep healthy.  You won't regret it and here's why:
  1. A - Acne:  Boxing will help clear up your acne.

  2. B - Body:  Boxing will give you the body of your dreams.

  3. C - Confidence:  Boxing will increase your self confidence.  Knowing you can handle yourself in certain situations and the excellent shape you will be in will inspire that confidence.

  4. D - Determination & Discipline:  Boxing will teach you determination and discipline.  To succeed, you must develop both.

  5. E - Everyone:  Boxing is not limited to one type of person.  Anyone can learn it no matter what your age or circumstances.

  6. F - Fight:  Boxing will teach you a method of fighting.  You will actually fight other people in a controlled environment and experience an adrenaline rush every time.

  7. G - Girls and Guys:  Boxing inspires confidence and the opposite sex will notice that confidence and your awesome body.

  8. H - Honorable:  Boxing is a gentleman's sport (or should be).  Fighters honour each other.

  9. I - Inexpensive:  Boxing is one of the most inexpensive sports to get involved with.

  10. J - Jump Rope:  How else as an adult can you skip without being looked at as a pansy?  (yeah, J stumped me, had to come up with something...)

  11. K - Kids:  Boxing has kept more than one kid out of trouble.  A lot of boxers would be in gangs or on the streets if it wasn't for their local boxing club.

  12. L - Legs:  Boxing will give you well defined, muscular, powerful legs from your calves to your buttocks.

  13. M - Muscle:  You will use muscles you didn't know you had and if you stick with it, you will tone your body and become more powerful.  That six pack of abs may even show up.

  14. N - Nutrition:  Boxers eat right and when you learn how to box, at least on How to Box, you learn the basics of boxing nutrition.

  15. O - Oxygen:  Your ability to absorb oxygen (VO2 max) will increase because of the boxing training you do.  This makes you a healthier person.

  16. P - Pressure:  Life is full of pressures and stresses.  Hitting the heavy bag or someone else for that matter is an excellent stress reliever.

  17. Q - Quick:  Boxing will hone your reflexes.  You will be incredibly quick and agile.

  18. R - Running:  Your ability to run, sprint, and jump will be greatly enhanced.  Running is an integral part of boxing training.

  19. S - Self Defence:  Boxing gives you a skill set that inspires confidence and the ability to defend yourself if a situation requiring it should arise.

  20. T - Travel:  If you decide to compete, there is ample opportunity to travel the world to take part in competitions and shows.

  21. U - Underdog:  There is nothing better than watching someone dig down deep and win a fight over someone that was supposed to kill them.  Root for the underdog.

  22. V - Victory:  There is nothing quite like winning a boxing match, knowing you were victorious over your opponent, standing up in front of the crowd with your arm raised. (at least that's what I hear...:)

  23. W - Workout:  Boxing workouts are by far the most intense and most effective workouts on the planet.

  24. X - Xtreme:  If you're into xtreme sports, boxing can rank right up there.

  25. Y - Youthful:  Boxing will help you beat the aging process or at least slow it down.

  26. Z - Z's - Boxing workouts will tire you out and you will sleep like a baby.  Perfect cure for insomnia.
Well, if that doesn't help you make up your mind, I don't know what will.
