- Stand in front of the heavy bag and square off.
- Get mad, summon all the energy in the world and picture that bag as the most evil, most hated object on the planet. If you want to give him or her a name....go ahead.
- You are going to hit the heavy bag for the duration indicated in the workout and every single punch will be the hardest punch you have ever thrown.
- You will not unleash a flurry of punches. Every punch will deliberately be the hardest punch you have ever thrown.
- You will try to hit the heavy bag with as many deliberately powerful punches as you can for the time allotted, but you must be careful to make sure you are throwing quality power punches.
- Your target on the heavy bag can vary. For your initial workouts it is good to deliver body shots repeatedly one after another. Left hook to the body, Right hook to the body, Left hook to the body, Right hook to the body...continue for the time indicated.
- After you get the hang of it, you can practice power combinations.
