i need some tips on how to fight with speed
Hey Chico - There are two
Hey Chico -
There are two pretty solid ways to get faster.
One is just shadow-boxing. Learn proper technique and you will punch a lot faster. Once all of those muscles are trained and working together, and you're using proper leverage and weight distribution, you will naturally punch faster. Also, something to keep in mind: There are a million ways to shadow-box. Watch enough fighters do it, and you'll see there's no single, set way to go about shadow-boxing. The method that i cling to is Sugar Ray Robinson's method. Throw punches when shadow-boxing the exact same way you would when you're in the ring: Full speed. Shadow-boxing more than hitting the heavy bag, more than hitting the mits, is the closest thing to actually fighting. In the ring, you're not going to land every punch, and you will have to get used to missing and still maintaining your balance.
The second is still shadow-boxing, but once you feel like you've gotten your technique hammered out. Now you just purchase some weighted gloves. They do wonders for increasing speed.
Hope that helps.
