Oscar de la Hoya goes up against Steve Forbes in what is largely being billed as a prep fight for De La Hoya's rematch against Floyd Mayweather Jr. later this year.
Personally, I always like fights that are billed as prep fights, because it gives the underdog a chance to shine and completely throw off the plans of the promoters... Whether or not Steve Forbes has a chance of prevailing of de la Hoya, though, will have to be seen.
Jorge Linares against Billy Dib for the WBC featherweight title as the undercard fight.

The next two parts of this series introduces us to the boxers involved. At this point, all you want to do is gather information and not worry too much about analyzing it. You'll catch yourself making snap judgements, like, wow he's old or he has no experience, but push those thoughts into a little holding cell in your head until Part 4 when we pit each boxer's characteristics against the other.
