i would suggest everytime you punch you should try and get your hands back to your cchin as fast as you can and when you throw your right hand throw it from your chin and put your weight behind it for maximum power by twisting the body wit the punch and pivoting your foot with the body and when you hook try and keep it close dont try and hook from far away as that leaves you open and the opponent has more time to react to the hook. if you could try and do that you would be way better than you are already.
Though good practice, the shots from behind, seeing as its a friendly fight, were a little cheap from what I saw, but then again you guys probably had it worked out before hand.
You seemed a lot better this round that the previous. Keep up the practice and everything.
Hey,
To be honest, I don't really see the point of basement fighting unless its under sparring condition. It looks like you were throwing haymakers which aren't necessarily safe punches nor smart punches to be throwing. Here are some tips though if you want to become a skilled fighter rather than just somebody who whales on a weaker opponent:
1. Focus on technique. Practice your basic punches (Jab, Cross, Hook, Uppercut). Mainly, perfect the jab because it is your most important punch. Snap all the punches, imagine you are shooting them out of a slingshot but the slingshot comes back(Snap through it and snap it back)
2. Practice planting your feet and throwing punches while shuffling, moving foward, or moving backward. Focus on keeping your guard up when throwing punches at all times (NEVER DROP PUNCHES). Make sure your punches are clean, crisp, and make sure you have good technique (i.e. put your body into your crosses, hooks, and uppercuts and on occassions jabs)
Don't take it the wrong way man. Just trying to help you out.

Man, i diden't see the blood but you said it was quite bad so must of been. ok you were killing him yes but in a fight or spar at a gym or club no chance. your diden't atempt to evan block move slip duck lean or anything from his punches (evan though there was nit many) and you were just throwing hooks that were so obviouse. so next time try not to lean the shoulder out to much other wise there may be a better boxer next time and he might be able to read you. good luck and practice your jab beacus ethat needs some work.

ok, so u prolly have a lot of potential, but that wasnt very good. Im just givin it to ya straight man, and i hope u dont take it wrong or nothing...ur friend was pretty bad (no offense to him)...in a real fight, the ref wont let ur opponent turn his bak to u, and if he did, u couldnt hit him. I also noticed that u were throwin really wide shots, I had the same problem, and ive lost a few fights because of it. In fact, i lost a fight a few weeks ago because i tried to do what you did, but by the time my hand even got close to my opponent, he had hit me 3 or 4 times and moved. just work on ur jab, and keep the shots short. and my last suggestion is to get a good coach. but good luck man
You're right to walk away.
the way u should be punching
Though good practice, the
u need new friend or at
