Hey, I am 190 pounds. I wanna know what weight class i am going into. I am turing 15 in the summer. I wanna know what group i am with as well. The gym iam hopefully going in is weyburn,sask. My little brother wants to join as well, he is 10. I am wondering if he could go into boxing know 2.

Guest: I'm not sure how the heavier weight classes work in the amateurs. You'd probably be a cruiserweight or maybe even a heavyweight. Hopefully someone else can verify this for you. Sorry.

Weight/Age Catergory?

I go to a boxing class and the age that they will allow kids to learn boxing is the age of 10 and up, so I think that the gym you go to would have the same thing. As for your weight I'm just a bit heavier than you and I think you would be classed as a heavy weight. But you could always check with the gym as well.
