IM JUST WONDERING WHO EVERYBODY THINKS IS THE BEST POUND FOR POUND FIGHTER IN THE WORLD TODAY. I PERSONALLY THINK ITS JOE CALZAGHE. I THINK HE'S A VERY UNDERATED CHAMPION. I THOUGT HIS DEMOLITION OF JEFF LACY WAS ONE OF THE BEST PERFORMANCES I'VE EVER SEEN. WHAT DOES EVERYBODY ELSE THINK

p-4-p

Pacquiao maybe.

Or Floyd (who is the current ring p-4-p champ).

I also think Juan Manuel Marquez should be in the running.

Calzaghe is underrated to a degree. But he really hasn't faced very good opposition. Jeff Lacy was way overrated before he got stomped by Calzaghe. And there's no doubt that Joe pointed out every flaw that Lacy had; embarassed him and set him back a big notch (which was really awesome to see, cause I hate Lacy). However, Joe struggled against Sakio Bika; and he was given a gift in the Manfredo fight (not that Peter necessarily had a chance, but it was still way premature, and it is boxing, so you never know what could have happened). Honestly, I'd have to say that if Calzaghe beats a couple more elite fighters then he could fit on a p-4-p list; but not just yet. It's just curious that he keeps selecting second rate opponents when he could be making a huge name for himself fighting other great fighters. I think he needs better management.

As for Arreola...I don't know, man. He's a decent looking heavy-weight. But he's nothing special. Anybody in the top 10 (heavyweights) would almost guaranteed take him down.

I have always adhered to two principles. The first one is to train hard and get in the best possible physical condition. The second is to forget all about the other fellow until you face him in the ring and the bell sounds for the fight.
