I was reading on Muay Thai a while back and I read Muay Thai boxer's kick bannana tree's thousands of times a day to kill any kind of feeling in there legs. So they can kick a opponent with no worries, I have been punching Brick walls and Cement floors for the same outcome. I was wondering if I should keep doing this or if working on heavy bags do the same thing? I know you can break bones and/or really hurt yourself, I dont hit to hard to break a finger or chip my knuckle but I do it hard enough for a little sting

heres an idea....

punching brick walls and things could be kind of silly...if you break a knuckle (Which can happen easier than you think if you are just starting boxing) then you will be out for weeks or maybe months.

One thing i reccomend is buying is something...which i dont know the name of haha......they are in all quality sports shops.......they are fings that u hold in your palms and sqeeze....if you do that every day you will notice your hands will become bigger and stronger etc.

hope that helps and makes sence lol

I have always adhered to two principles. The first one is to train hard and get in the best possible physical condition. The second is to forget all about the other fellow until you face him in the ring and the bell sounds for the fight.
