boxing start
If you want to get into fighting shape, then you need to work hard to get there. Don't start off too hard, or else you will overwhelm yourself and lose motivation. One thing that would help is to get an idol, someone that you want to be like. Also take a picture of yourself ever so often to see your results. Then do a fitness test to see where you are at, and then do one every now and then to see where you are improving. I use the military's fitness test to see my results. pull ups- as many as you can do without stopping push ups- as many as you can do in 2 minutes sit ups- as many as you can do in 2 minutes 2 mile run as fast as you can if you are in really good physical condition you should be able to do 15- 20 pull ups 60 and up in push ups 70 and up in sit ups and 13 minutes or less on that 2 mile run then once you see where you stand, you can browse the net and find a work out routine suitable for you. But if you use mostly bodyweight exercises, then you want to take the fitness test so that way you know where to start. You don't want to overwhelm yourself, but at the same time, you don't want it to be too easy. some friends of mine say they just do the fitness test every other day, or 5 days out of the week and it works for them. But, everybody's got their own tastes. I hope this helps you out, and wish you the best of luck.

I want to keep fighting because it is the only thing that keeps me out of the hamburger joints. If I don't fight, I'll eat this planet.
