What age is to late to try to become a pro boxer
Iam 18 right now and wanted to train to become a pro boxer. I am going into the air force and I will be taking up boxing. I probably have more dedication than anybody you know. It is like boxing is my life now, but I am concered that I started to sport to late. Do you think I have a chance to become a pro boxer?

It is good that you have a lot of dedication, this will go a long way for you. Unfortunately the fact is that because you started late your chances of going pro are extremely slim. However, this does not mean that you should not try, you could be good enough, but you have to have a large amount of fights with an almost perfect record to go pro. With your dedication there is a good chance that you can have a very good record, but getting the amount of fights you need will be difficult. Just remember, to win all you have to do is train harder than the other guy. simple. Do you need to go pro though, boxing would be an ideal way to put your fitness level far above your competition for the air force. Your training and fighting could just be a way of accomplishing your goal which is joining the forces.
