Once a boxer with unbelievable hand speed and accuracy, Roy Jones Jr is going up against a boxer who hasn't lost a match since the amateurs back in the 90's. An analysis of Jones Jr's speed now compared to when he was in his prime confirms that he has slowed down, however his last three fights have shown glimpses of his old self.

Unfortunately, for Jones, his speed and accuracy now are not enough to slow down his opponents punching output significantly and that's where Joe Calzaghe is going to outmatch him. Calzaghe is a punching machine and has an output like no other. If Jones can't put a wrench in that machine, Calzaghe is going to steamroll him.
